Amber alert for Pets is a national pet registry. You register your pets so that in the event they become lost, a regional amber alert blast e-mail will be sent on your behalf.
At the very least, you can add your name to the registry to receive lost pet alerts. You will receive no other e-mails, and only be contacted when there is a lost pet in your area.
We also offer a $1 lost pet locator tag to all of our clients ($20 regular membership). You will also receive a valuable, free gift.
Many pets are euthanized each year when shelters are not able to locate the pet parent in time because the pet parent was unreachable.
The Pet Protector offers tags with a national, toll-free number (1-800-Help4Pets), and stands ready to take any calls regarding your pet, 24/7. They will contact you to let you know your pet has been found.
Free E-mail Notification
If you lose or find a pet visit the Center for Lost Pets to post information about the pet. If anyone posts at the site that they've lost or found a pet, and it's a match to yours, you'll receive an e-mail alerting you to the match.
