DOG WALKING, PET SITTING & HOUSE SITTING
We Are Built on Moral Values
Pet First Pet Care was built on a strong foundation of many solid moral values and philosophies-one of them being empathy. We put ourselves in your shoes and imagine if it were our home and our pets what we would want someone to do. Since we know that our pets are priorities, we know yours are too, so they are a priority to us, as well as your home. We know that finding a pet sitter or dog walker can be difficult. You want to make sure the person you're leaving your pet with can be trusted. We also know that if you feel at all ill at ease with a specific pet sitter, you will never be able to enjoy your stay away from your home. You can trust us because we do everything with integrity, honesty, and loyalty. We operate with you and your pets in mind.
Flexible & Endless Services!
We Tailor Our Services Around You & Your Pet's Your Needs
It's all about you and your pet-and we mean that. That's why we don't have an official list of what a visit to your home includes. A list couldn't possibly accommodate everybody's needs. We let you tell us what you would like the visit to include. We also don't charge extra for extra pets.
We tailor our services to your needs. Instead of telling you how we will care for your pet, you tell us how to care for your pet. Our services are endless, and pretty much any need you or your pet may have, we offer that service to fit your needs. Though we do not have an "official" list, here are just some examples of what we have to offer (which is pretty much everything!):
Bring in Mail/Newspaper
Alternate Lights/Window Coverings/Radio/TV
Clean Litter Boxes
Take Garbage Out
Walk/Jog/or Run With Your Dog
Multiple Visits/Walks a Day
Overnight Visits or Day Visits-Lasting 8 hours or more
...Just to name a few!...
Why We Feel In Your Home Pet Sitting Is THE Best Way To Go!! ...
Advantages of a Pet Sitter Vs. Boarding
We offer in your home pet sitting, which we feel is the best kind of care for your baby while you are away!
There are advantages and disadvantages to boarding a pet, and in your home pet sitting, so it is good to consider both before deciding what is best for you and your pet. There are many great boarding companies and pet sitting companies out there. Which one is right for you depends on what matters most to you and what you are looking for. There can be many health dangers and risks and possible illnesses your pet can catch if you board them, or even if you take them to a pet sitter that offers boarding in their home. Please note; this does not necessarily mean they are a bad boarding company, even the best boarding companies with the safest practices may end up with an animal or two that may spread something around to others, as it is impossible to vaccinate for every possible illness. Some examples that are not a regular vaccine are for Giardia and Coccidia. Those are both highly contagious and can be very hard to get rid of. Your pet can also contract either one of those illnesses without any physical symptoms, and can be hard to diagnose without a fecal sample. Of course, as previously stated, these are not necessarily signs of a bad boarding company. There are many very good boarding companies that may unknowingly have a couple sick animals, as it is impossible to vaccinate and test for every illness. It may not even be very likely to happen at all, or it may never happen, but it is something to consider.
Boarding facilities also charge extra for extra playtime and walks, and since so many pets are at these boarding facilities, your pet typically will not get the best individualized attention they deserve. They also charge extra fees for performing extra care and simple services (that should be free), i.e., add-ons. Our ad-ons are free! If you are boarding more than one pet, boarding facilities charge extra for extra pets. We don't charge extra for extra pets, so pet sitting can be much cheaper than boarding if you have more than one pet.
Boarding facilities will most often care for your pet according to their schedule, not yours. Particularly with puppies, sticking to a schedule is important, so boarding a young animal is not recommended.
Another benefit to having an in your home pet sitter is that of course your baby will be much more comfortable being in the comfort of their own home with the familiar scents and surroundings!
